A New Year, a New System!

Welcome back to school!  The junior high team has begun a new behavior system that is designed to help our students to be prepared for high school.  Our past graduates have told us that one of the hard parts of adjusting to high school has been the discipline demands, so we began the "I Earned It" system on the first day of school.  Students are given $100 at the beginning of each week (or $20 a day, if a student is absent).  If the student is following directions, turning in homework, and following school rules, they will receive their full $100 at the end of the week, plus a bonus of $50 for completing the week with full points.  This money can be used to buy things such as a free dress pass.
If a student does not follow directions, does not turn in homework, or breaks school rules, they will lose money.
Every Friday the students will get their paycheck telling them how much money they earned that week.  These must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned by Monday, or the paycheck will be voided.
The junior high team appreciates the support of our parents in helping our junior high to become responsible students who are capable of being very successful high schoolers!
