All of the classes are currently working on the Pythagorean Theorem:
  A squared + B squared = C squared

A and B are the legs of a right triangle---they are the two sides that are connected to the right angle--that helps form the L (reminds you of the "legs" of the triangle).

C is the hypotenuse--which is always the longest side.

This theorem only works with right triangles.  There must be one right angle in the triangle, or you cannot use this theorem.

There will be a quiz on this subject this week for all three classes.
